A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I am a detail-oriented and nimble designer with 7+ years of experience in building digital products.
I’m originally from Japan and moved to the West Coast after graduating high school. I packed my life into 2 bags and set off to attend school at the University of Oregon, where I studied advertising and multimedia art.

My career began as a Jr Designer at Jacob Tyler in Sunny San Diego. During my 3 years with JT, I learned everything about branding in both print and digital execution, as well as user experience and visual design for websites, apps and all other cool digital things.
I also worked with B2B demand generation/digital marketing agency, Response Capture, in Portland as a contractor. These two agencies really helped me develop my UI/UX skills in both branding and marketing contexts, which required me to have different sets of knowledge and design disciplines.

At VITRO in San Diego, I was a lead UI/UX designer. As an essential part of the Digital Department, I am responsible for all UI/UX processes on any digital projects. With talented creative folks, I've worked with a wide range of clients like AGCO, Adidas Golf, Campari, Caribou Coffee, Children's Hospital Orange County, Disney, Toyo Tires, UC San Diego, and more.
